How do I keep track of my loans?
Use the 'My Library Card' tool to keep track of your requests and loans. Log in at the top right-hand corner of any Findit page with your FAN and password. Once signed in, view your active loans and due dates, historical loans, and manage your requests. Items will automatically renew unless someone has requested them (excluding document delivery items)
What happens when I tick the box 'Include
records not in the Library collection'?
This tick box appears in the search result page above the refining
tool links. Ticking the box will include results that the Library does NOT have
online, but MAY have in print. On an item record selecting 'No full text: click
for options'; and checking the 'Get it' section will show if this is the case.
This may be useful if you are doing more in depth or comprehensive research
around a particular subject area.
Any resource the Library does NOT hold can be requested via Document
Delivery for eligible patrons.
I can't see online collection items when I open them from the Library Findit catalogue. What do I do?
Most subscriptions to online materials like eBooks, articles and
databases are only accessible to Flinders University staff and students. Make
sure that you log in to Findit (at the top right-hand corner of the catalogue
page) OR access Findit via the tile on your OKTA dashboard which will
automatically log you in.
