The Children’s Literature Collection contains over 1400 volumes of books written especially for children. The books in this donated collection range in date from the 1890s up to the present day and contain many rare and out of print titles.
The collection has an Australian focus, but also includes items published in England and some foreign language material.
The collection holds volumes from authors such as Mary Grant Bruce, Ethel and Lilian Turner, and Isabel M Peacocke.
Much of this collection has been catalogued and can be found by searching within the Children's Literature Collection in Findit@Flinders.
