Libkey Nomad & BrowZine

Services Libkey Nomad & BrowZine

Get to full text faster, wherever you search

Whether you're searching in Google Scholar, browsing journals, or following up on a citation from an AI tool, LibKey Nomad and BrowZine connect you to Flinders-subscribed content more quickly.

What is LibKey Nomad?

LibKey Nomad is a browser extension that checks whether Flinders University Library provides access to articles you discover online, and links you directly to the full text or PDF when it's available. You'll also be alerted to retracted or corrected articles as you browse.

Why use it?

  • Access full-text articles instantly
  • Avoid paywalls
  • Use the sites you already search
  • Check what AI tools reference before you cite it

Install LibKey Nomad

Access articles cited by AI tools

Found an interesting article through ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini or another AI tool? Ask the AI to provide a DOI or citation for the source it references.

With LibKey Nomad installed, a button will appear alongisde supported citations, so you can quickly check whether Flinders University Library has access to the full text.

Access the original article, verify the findings, and go beyond the AI-generated answer.

How to get started

  1. Install LibKey Nomad for your browser.
  2. Select Flinders University Library when prompted.
  3. Browse as normal.

Once installed, LibKey works in the background and will notify you when full text is available through the Library (look for the navy button!).
