Flinders University Library (as a member of Council of Australian University Librarians) has entered into several agreements with publishers (through both Read & Publish schemes and institutional memberships) to deliver Flinders researchers with discounted or entirely waived Article Processing Charges (APCs) when publishing open access in selected journals.
The following offers are available to corresponding authors (including HDRs) publishing research articles affiliated with Flinders University. Each publisher may impose further eligibility criteria or limitations and additional charges (such as page and colour charges).
CAPS ALERT: WILEY, Taylor & Francis, Springer Nature caps are expected to be fulfilled in late September and October 2024; free APCs may no longer be available for articles accepted in 2024 and charges may apply.

Offer: No article processing charge when publishing an original research paper in any of the five included journals.
Submission criteria: Corresponding author must be affiliated to Flinders University and use Flinders email. In the publishing agreement, select open access and select Flinders University as the participating institution.
Offer: No article processing charge when publishing in any of the included CSIRO journals.
Submission criteria: Corresponding author must be affiliated to Flinders University and use Flinders email. Fee waiver should automatically apply through the submission in ScholarOne.
Offer: No article processing charge when publishing eligible article types in included Elsevier journals. Some further journals may also be eligible for a 15% discount.
