Flinders University Library offers a variety of in-person and online options for getting customised support from a librarian in undertaking study and research.​

Search support drop-ins​

Students who are seeking further assistance with search skills, ranging from
assignment searching to systematic style reviews, can attend a drop-in session
to get customised support. No bookings are required. Prior to attending, it is
recommended that you complete one or both self-paced FLO modules on:

  • Searching with Confidence (beginner)
  • Systematic Literature Searching (advanced)

    There are no sessions on public holidays or during the end of year break.

The Library offers regularly scheduled EndNote Essentials workshops that covers the basics of using EndNote. Details and registration can be found on iEnrol. A self-paced version of this course is also available via FLO.

College based researcher drop-ins

Who is it for: Research staff, support staff, and HDR students.
What is it: A Research Librarian will be based in your College area during which time you can drop by in-person (without an appointment) for assistance with ResearchNow profiles, research data management, strategic publishing, open access, bibliometrics, and advanced searching. ​
Outside of these drop-ins, assistance is also available by submitting a Library Research Query via Service One.​
