The libraries are freely accessible for all students, staff, and the general public during staffed opening hours. Entrance to libraries outside of public access hours requires an appropriately enabled ID card, see after hours building access for more information. All times listed are Adelaide time.

After hours building access

Library access outside of public access hours is available only to current Flinders students and staff. ID card access to Central Library (Bedford Park), Sturt Library, or Tonsley can be obtained by filling out an online Building access request. You can also visit the Flinders Security office, located beneath the Central Library.

Access to the Medical Library outside of standard opening hours requires a current SAHLN/FMC ID card. For any access issues on a SAHLN/FMC ID card, please visit the Flinders Medical Centre Security office on Level 2 near the North/Kangaroo lifts.

To enter buildings after hours, tap your ID card to the wall mounted card reader located outside main library entrances.
