Sir Charles Bright Papers

Sir Charles Bright was Chancellor of Flinders University from 1971 until his death in 1983.

The collection consists of working notes for M.A. degree, speeches and sundry papers. The material dates from 1979 to 1983.

Folders in the collection are labelled:

• Correspondence - General, re India project
• Letters to my Minister on consitutional matters

There are eight boxes of material relating to the 1973 Bright Report (Committee of Enquiry into Health Services in South Australia). 

The collection was acquired by the Library in October 1983.
