Learn more Kaurna Language with this Youtube channel. Kaurna Warra Pintyanthi is a group of Kaurna people, teachers, linguists and language enthusiasts who are engaged in the reclamation and teaching of the Kaurna language of the Adelaide plains.
The terminology, representations and protocols provided in this document have been endorsed by Flinders University. It has been adapted from ‘Using the right words: appropriate terminology for Indigenous Australia studies’ 1996 in Teaching the Teachers: Indigenous Australian Studies for Primary Pre-Service Teacher Education, School of Education, University of New South Wales in association with the Council for Aboriginal Reconciliation.
