AUIDP Indonesian Libraries Project Archive

Working papers compiled by Peter H. Saunders while seconded as a Senior Library Advisor to Brawijaya University, Malang, East Java, with the International Development Program of Australian Universities and Colleges from May 1984 until April 1985.

East Timor Collection

Includes Indonesian newspaper press clippings from 1992 onwards, mainly in Bahasa Indonesia with some English language articles. The main focus of the collection is on political and human rights issues in East Timor since 1975.

Indian Indentured Labour Collection

Primary and secondary sources relating to Indian indentured labour in the British colonies from the middle of the nineteenth century.

Indian Fiction Collection

A small collection of Indian literature and press clippings on Indian literature.

Ronald Klein Collection

A collection of international literature from Asia and Africa either written in English or translated into English from the original language.

Lombok Collection

Items are in Indonesian, Dutch or English. Includes information collected by the Food Crisis Management Group while on field work in Lombok from 1981 to 1983.

Anton Lucas Collection

Comprises of Indonesian studies resources from the work of Associate Professor Anton Lucas: letters and documents from the Japanese occupation and the Indonesian revolution, and protest movements that continued in later periods. Also includes photographs and drawings, plus audio recordings and transcripts of interviews with participants at the local level in the revolution.

South Sulawesi Collection

The collection consists of books concerning South Sulawesi, Indonesia. The subjects covered are principally social sciences. All books are catalogued in FindIt@Flinders
