The East Timor collection contains newspaper clippings, press releases, pamplets, journal articles, poetry and audio visual material from 1975 to 2000. The main focus of the collection is on political and human rights in East Timor. The collection was presented to the Library in 1997 by Dr Anton Lucas, Senior Lecturer in Asian Studies.
The collection is arranged in rough chronological order, it has not yet been indexed. Indonesian newspaper press clippings from 1992 onwards are mainly in Bahasa Indonesia with some English language articles. Other printed material is in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
