The Faith Trent Collection contains over 250 antiquarian book titles. Many of the books are in German, with some translated into other languages. A large series of Strindberg’s works in German is included, along with several French classic novels, especially works of Balzac in German. There are also novels and essays in English. The oldest volume is an Ovid work from 1613.
This collection enhances our research resources on early modern European studies. It was donated by Emeritus Professor Faith Trent in 2000 under the under Cultural Gifts Program.
