Festival of Light Collection

The Australian Festival of Light was a Christian lobby group with the aims of promoting Christian standards of behaviour, strengthening the family as the basic unit of society, and researching the effects of modern trends of family and community life. It is now called FamilyVoice Australia.

In 2002 Dr David Hilliard of the History Department donated a small collection of materials concerning the Festival of Light gathered during the course of his research. This collection contains pamphlets, correspondence, circulars, publicity material and magazines, ranging from the years 1972 to 1999.
