This collection consists of 15 bottles and 3 cans specially issued for Flinders University. It is part of the Flinders University Archives Collection.
Examples include:
- Bottles for a Flinders White (1970 and 1973) and a Flinders Dry Red (1970). These wines were bottled for Flinders University by Hamilton's Wines. The grapes were grown in the Sturt Vineyards – a 100 acre vineyard on Sturt/South Road, which was part of the University grounds and which formerly belonged to the Laffer Family. The vineyards were leased by Hamiltons from around 1970 to 1980.
- One bottle from a Penfold's Cabernet Shiraz Wine, 1982, which was selected for the University's Silver Jubilee celebrations, Silver Plate Dinner, held March 18, 1991. The bottle has a commemorative label.
- Two Silver Jubilee Beer Cans. These cans were specially labelled for the Silver Jubilee and contained Coopers Genuine Draught Beer. The cans are examples of the rare straight sided cans.
- One beer can labelled Coopers Brewery - associated with South Australians. Flinders University est. 1966.
