The Megaw collection contains resources on archaeology, prehistory, and visual arts. It includes British, European, American and Australian history; plus British, North and Middle European, and Eastern Bloc archaeological and cultural research material from the 19th and 20th centuries.
The Collection was donated by Emeritus Professor John Vincent Stanley Megaw and Dr Ruth Megaw in 2002 and 2003.
Material types comprise of monographs, serials, offprints, reprints, exhibition catalogues, pamphlets and photocopies, covering around 4 metres of shelving of published items plus 9 archive boxes.
