The Nursing Education Collection contains photocopied articles, data sheets, curriculum and course booklets, index cards and correspondence relating to nursing education, covering the periods c. 1940 and 1960-1995.
Box 1
In 1989-1990, Gillian Dooley compiled 'The transfer of Australian nursing education from hospitals to tertiary institutions: an annotated bibliography' while working as nursing subject librarian at the Sturt campus of SACAE. This collection contains copies of many of the articles listed in the bibliography.
Box 2
This box of curriculum documents and course booklets from Nursing at Flinders and Sturt CAE was donated in 2007 by Mayumi Kako, who researched curriculum development at Flinders University for her Ph.D. The date ranges are 1976-1995.
