Tinsley Collection

Rev. A.S. Tinsley was a pastor in the Baptist Church in various parishes in Sydney and Adelaide. He died in 1988. He was involved in church sporting activities as well as evangelical and parish duties.

Mrs Tinsley donated this collection to the Library, together with books from Mr Tinsley's library, in 1992. It contains pamphlets relating to the Baptist Church in Australia, autograph books, films, and some personal notes and photographs.

The extent of the Tinsley Collection is 1.25 metres of shelving plus 2 film reels, with a date range of c.1940-1980.

  • "Three dawns to Sydney. Part II". 2 reel-to-reel films (23 minutes each), 16mm. Second film is a duplicate of the first.
