Q. Will this login work off campus?
A. No, the login will not work outside of the Flinders IP range.
Q. Why can't I access all databases with the walk-in user login?
A. Walk-in user access is determined by the license terms for a database. Where not approved, access cannot be provided as part of the walk-in service.
Q. I am trying to use a database on the list and I still can't access the article. How do I fix this?
A. If you go to a database on the list and can’t access an article, see if there is an option to limit to subscribed content (usually called something like "Only content I have access to").
Q. What happens if I try to use these credentials off campus, or try to access a database that isn't covered?
A. You will get an error advising the resource is restricted.
- If on campus, go back to the walk-in use database list and select a database here.
- If on campus, you will not have access to resources using the walk-in service. You will need to come on campus, or if you are a student or staff, use your Flinders credentials to access resources.
